Namaskar! Welcome to The Indus Indian Restaurant Paddington.
The Indus Indian restaurants were established
in 2002. The Dynamic Young Team at Indus has recently been tantalizing
the taste buds of curry lovers in Brisbane ever since. Our restaurant
in trendy Paddington has grown from strength to strength and has
won several awards along the way. the support from the local communities
has been tremendous and we deeply appreciate your valuable patronage.
We started this business with the simplest of Mission Statements:
"To be the Best Indian Restaurant serving authentic Indian
food in Brisbane." Five years later we have exceeded our wildest
expectations and have become a preferred destination for Curry Lovers
in Brisbane. At this precious milestone in the journey the Indus
Indian Restaurants have embarked on, we would like to present you
with a new menu which marks our 5th Anniversary. This menu stands
as a testament to the true curry lovers and reflects the traditional
and time tested heritage recipes from the regional cuisines of India
and also endeavors to encompass the evolving global trends in Indian
food.
The menu is a tribute to our rich Indian heritage and also to other
curry loving nations of the world. A truly Global Indian menu with
inspirations derived from Japan to make the tempura batter for the
King Prawn Pakora, from France to steal their Camembert and make
it into a Bollywood style Pekora, etc, etc...
We realise that it is a daunting prospect for most Vegetarians
and Vegans to dine out due to the lack of options available to them.
So here at the Indus we have dedicated an entire section of the
menu for their perusal which includes tempting choices in entrees
and mains. The rest of the menu is dedicated to presenting an array
of exiting meat dishes including the Designer Curries an our Indus
Exclusive Signature dishes which are created with passion and executed
with flair.
We also have a superb range of innovative Indian Tandoori breads
and fantastic dips. Food presentation plays a vital role as the
Indus benchmarks the importance of our colour in Indian food with
yellows, reds, greens and whites; banishing the brown sludge seen
through the ages.
So then here is Refined Indian Cooking at its best.
